Documents from the Historical Archives

On Thursday 26/01/2023 at 17:00 the Museum of the Bank of Greece hosts a presentation of the publication series by the Center for Culture, Research and Documentation of the Bank, themed "Documents from the Historical Archives", published under the scientific supervision of Panteion University Assistant Professor Andreas Kakridis.

The series has so far four books [in Greek], with the most recent (2022) being "The Association Agreement of Greece with the EEC: Negotiations through the Archive of Ioannis Pesmazoglou", edited by Irini Karamouzi. The remaining three books, in reverse order of publication, are: Collective, "Aspects of the refugee settlement in Greece, 1922-1930" edited by Lena A. Kormà (2021), Kyriakos Varvaressos, "The Greek economic situation – Memorandum to the Undersecretary of State Department Dean Acheson, 1946" edited by Sotiris Rizas (2019), and Socrates Kosmidis, "Diary 1941-1945. From Athens to London with the government-in-exile: a Bank of Greece employee narrates" edited by Angela Karapanou (2019).

The speeches of the respective editors of each volume will be prefaced by the scientific editor of the series, Andreas Kakridis.
