Economy and Climate: Handle with care

The exhibition “Economy and Climate: Handle with care” describes the phenomenon of climate change and analyses its economic impact, its importance for central banks, as well as the ways selected to address it. 

Focusing mainly on Greece, it builds on key contributions by specialised economists and experts of the BoG, includes interactive digital exhibits, and is accompanied by a museum education programme in addition to a series of parallel cultural and educational actions that enhance the awareness and active involvement of the public – and particularly of younger people – in the commitment and mobilisation urgently required to tackle the phenomenon on a global scale. 

Our Museum freely distributes the catalogue of the exhibition, plus the comic book “The great transformation: Climate – Can we beat the heat?”, which is also available online through the BoG’s website. Furthermore, a commemorative / collectible coloured medal created for the exhibition is also handed out gratis to our visitors, who – in a suitably arranged area – can also play on any mobile device a specifically designed 3D game of green investment freely downloadable from AppStore and GooglePlay .
